Very well executed American style steakhouse in Shanghai. Service was excellent (a rarity in mainland China), cocktail list was lovely, food was on point (Bone in rib eye, mash, gratin, asparagus, broccoli), wine list was diverse, view was great, atmosphere was perfect (calm and quiet with a well tailored playlist). They had their own, on-site restroom which was awesome, given that normally in Shanghai several business will share the restroom facilities, and it was clean and well kept. One of the best all around dining experiences I have had in Shanghai in the last three years living here.
Went here earlier in the year-June 2016. Don't eat beef so was a little skeptical - but then there was nothing else worth it in the mall. Saw its sign everyday walking to work while I was visiting Shanghai

Great Food. It's one of the best I've visited yet. But due to chinese culture high end restaurants tend to overcharge a lot. I'd come back if money's just a number, but else I'd recommend tourist to stay away from any luxury experience.
The king crab is amazing! They even have it as an apetizer and its not a small portion! They split it for you too. Comes cold but you really get more flavor that way. I usually order it warm so ask if u want it that way. But i got warm butter so it worked out. Ig im not big on steak bc it just tasted like a normal steak to me. Ill be back for the crab and the bread is outrageously delicious and huge. I ordered the mushrooms and spinach as a side and it was awesome. Overall the view and the food i dont think u can beat it. Not ridiculous price either quite average for the type of restaurant. Id like to try the tomahawk maybe next time but itd be hard not to order a full king crab legs.
We celebrated my husband’s birthday dinner at this beautiful upscale restaurant, and it was nothing short of memorable. From the moment we arrived, our table was perfectly set with a stunning direct view of the Shanghai Tower; an incredible backdrop that made the evening feel extra special.
Happy to find a Morton’s in Shanghai, apparently the biggest one in the world. Last visit to a Morton’s was in Indianapolis I believe.
The ambience is surprisingly amazing with the view of the bund. All dishes taste good. Excellent services.
